Motion Metrics signed sales agreement with Mangazeya Group
The agreement is for the sale of the high-tech PortaMetrics™ device for particle size distribution analysis and its optimization
Motion Metrics Rus LLC signed an agreement with the Mangazeya Group (a subsidiary of the Far Eastern Non-Ferrous Metals Company) for the sale of an innovative ‘high-tech’ hand-held PortaMetrics™ device for high-quality particle size distribution analysis and fragmentation improvement through blasting.
The hand-held PortaMetrics™ tablet with embedded artificial intelligence is based on in-house built deep artificial neural network algorithms and provided with three powerful high-resolution 3D stereocameras. The device provides instant complete size distribution information. And the operator does not have to manipulate the tablet’s settings. Images can be immediately viewed directly on the device. An Internet connection on site is not required for use.
The software used in PortaMetrics™ does not require a scaling object. Moreover, the camera’s viewing angle and position are not essential for the tablet. The accuracy of the analysis is 99%.
When Internet connectivity is available, the captured 3D stereo images are sent to the MetricsManager™ Pro (MMPRO) analytics web-platform also empowered by artificial intelligence. It analyzes transmitted data and generates in-depth reports with size distribution graphs.
All mine data is stored on secure servers designed for the highest level of privacy and security. Only authorized users can access MMPRO™.
At the moment, PortaMetrics™ is extensively used by the major Russian mines. Among them are EuroChem, Polyus, Polymetal, Seligdar, Severstal, Norilsk Nickel, and PhosAgro, and such D&B companies as AZOTTEKH, NITRO SIBERIA, Orica UMMC, Maxam Siberia, KRU Vzryvprom, AV Group, etc.
