MiningWorld Russia 2023 has doubled in size
From April 25 to April 27, 2023, the 27th International exhibition of machines and equipment for mining, processing and transportation of minerals MiningWorld Russia 2023 will be held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre, Pavilion 1, Halls 1, 2 and 3. 368 companies will present equipment and machinery for the mining industry in an area of over 16,000 sq.m.!
MiningWorld Russia 2023 exhibition will become the largest business platform where Russian and foreign representatives of the mining industry will get acquainted with the newest machines, equipment, technologies and services for mining, discuss strategic issues, and build direct contacts.

The growing interest in Chinese mining equipment is evidenced by the increased number of participants from China – 134 companies, which is 42% more than before the pandemic. The MiningWorld Russia 2023 exhibition is traditionally accompanied by a rich business programme. More than 80 speakers, including government officials, top managers and mining industry experts, will take part in 11 events.
Mining industry leaders forum (April 25-27, Forum hall)
From April 25 to 27, the Mining Industry Leaders Forum will be held, where government officials and mining executives will discuss business transformation and new opportunities in an era of market change.
The Forum program will start on April 25 from an analytical plenary session, during which Yakov & Partners, the largest strategic consulting company in Russia (formerly McKinsey in Russia), will present the results of a joint study by Zyfra Group of Companies and MiningWorld Russia exhibition dedicated to the latest trends in digitalization in the mining and metallurgical industries. The study will reflect the vision of key market participants and industry experts on the current digital agenda of enterprises, as well as their assessment of digitalization level of the industry and willingness to invest in such projects.
The business agenda will be continued by the main plenary discussion dedicated to technological sovereignty and digital transformation of the industry. Participants will discuss the strategic tasks of digitalization, production planning in the conditions of changing demand, opportunities and limitations for import substitution of hardware and software products.
On April 26, the opening event of the Forum will be the conference “Experience in solving personnel issues by mining companies”. HR directors of large industry companies will tell how they solve the issue of personnel shortages, attract young professionals to the staff, and what advanced training programs they implement.
The program of the Forum will be continued by the official ceremony of awarding the winners of the effective digital projects competition "Mining Industry 4.0", which will be held at 13:30 in the Forum Hall. Following its results, the finalists will hold a case session and share their ideas and experience. Free entrance.
On April 27, the Forum program will end with a MineTech session – an open microphone for project teams at universities that will talk about the capabilities of their innovation centres.
Expert conferences and round tables (April 25-26, conference halls G and C)
During the conference "Gold and Technologies", which will be held on April 25, experts and specialists of gold mining enterprises will discuss the state and prospects for the development of the gold mining industry in Russia, deposits with difficult raw materials.
On April 25, the conference "New Methods and Technologies for Enhancing the Efficiency of Geological Exploration" will begin. It will be devoted to the processing and analysis of geological data.
On April 26, the conference "Enrichment and complex processing of mineral and non-natural raw materials" will be held.
In addition, on April 26, for the first time, a round table “Energy Saving. Ecology. Safety. On the Way to Technological Sovereignty” will be held. As part of the round table experts will discuss the issues of market saturation with high-quality domestic equipment, its compliance with advanced foreign practices, the possibility of technology transfer and other relevant topics.
